FLOODS INTERRUPT TRAFFIC.

Heavy rain has fallen throughout Southland, and th© rivers are running high. Communication was interrupted on the Kingston-Lumsden line on Saturday afternoon and passengers were transferred by motor. The downfall will greatly benefit the country, which' is suffering from the dry spell.
