(■» TELEOEAfE —P-RWW» ASSOCIATION I LEVIN Jan. 13. A serious fir© occurred Just before midnight, by whjch manure works owned by J. M. Milne at Pdroutawhao wero completely destroyed. 'No work had been carried on for several days at the works and the fire was discovered by the caretaker, but owing to the restricted water supply little could "be done to combat the flames. The insurances were £4000 in the Alliance office. rhe estimated value of the works and plant was between £7000 and £8000.
