AGED "FLAPPERS."
MALE AND FEMALE.
TRYING TO KEEP YOUNG
•r cxblm— raec^ .-wuciation—ooptbioht NEW YORK, Jan. 10. Aged "flappers," male and female, are bitterly denounced in an official bulletin issued by the California*! Medical Association, dealing with gland operations which are supporting an army of quacks in Calilprnian cities. The bulletin says the further career is usually short of those who undergo operation, because the old arteries go on hardening, and the creaking joints continue to stiffen, and the brain oontiues to soften, these processes becoming more rapid, because they are unnaturally speeded up, and tfie persons are not allowed to grow old gracefully. The. Medical Association demands that doctors who advertise gland operations bo barred from the profession.—Sydney Sun Cables.
