BANK ROBBERIES.
CLEVER RUSE
SY PABT.K—PRafcs ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Jan. 11, 10.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 10. Advices from Los Angeles state that bandits were announcing to depositors, as they entered, that merely motion pictures were being taken.* They held up the First National Bank at Maywood Suburb, locked eleven uersons in a vault, and escaped with £400. The timely arrival of the official who knew the combination saved the prisoners in the vault from suffocation. The First National Bank at Tustin, California, had a less spectacular experience, two masked men taking £1000.—Sydney Sun Cables.
