BRISBANE, Jan 4. Air. Theodore, on being farewelled by the members of the three parties, said that the loan conversions were rendered difficult because certain London interests have raised controversial points. If compelled to transfer the loans to New York, consequences would follow which would weaken Imperial re lationships and create a diversion in the currents of trade. If the American people invested money in Australia the Americans would naturally take a deeper interest in the resources and possibilities of Australia, to the mutual advantage of both countries.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn.
