IMPORTANT CHANGES.

Lhe Pans correspondent of the Times says that important changes in the irench army organisation, involving the dissolution ot a large number of units and the creation of ne.w, will,- it is understood, come administratively into force with the New Year. They are provisional, pending the passing of a new law for the complete reorganisation of the. French army, but it is stated the changes will form part of the whole scheme, which is intended to be permanent.

The Journal says that under these administrative measures 39 infantry regiments will be disbanded, and eleven regiments of fie'd artillery, three' of which are light and one heavy with a tractor. Six heavy horse Tegiments are also to be dissolved, while 14 new units are to be created, including tank regiments, cavalry, artillery and aviation regiments. Certain units are also changing their garrison quarters.-
