A YOUTH KILLED

Leonard Croxford, aged 19, bricklayer, leaned from the lift-well of the third storey of a building on which he was employed to grasp a block and ; tackle. He seized a loose end of the ■■ rope and fell to tlie basement, 37ft., j and was killed instaneously. He had ; become engaged to be married on Christmas Eve, and had returned to work after an -absence of ten days., due ' to a minor injury to his foot.
