The report of a strong committee of clergymen and laymen, including eminent physicians, appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury after the Lambeth Conference of 1920 to consider the challenge of Christian science, while welcoming the recent development of spiritual healing, rules that no sick person must look to clergymen to perform the work of physicians or surgeons.
