OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT.

"Don Quickshot of the Rio Grande," the Universal western play starring Jack Hoxie, which opened last night at the Opera House, is typical of the kind of screen plays that have made Hoxie such a favourite with the motion picture public. It is a happy story of western cattleland and has a flavour of sage and wild flowers of the open country. Cupid rides a broncho to find his victims —and, of course, the thread of a love story winds through gallops over sagebrush and wild flowers. The supports include a tworoel comedy, Bibddy Messenger in "Don't Get Fresh," episode 14 of "Timber Queen," and third episode of "Round the World in Eighteen Days."
