POLICEMAN FIRES AT AUDIENCE

BX CABLE—PBESB ASSORT Irinx—COVYWGW ROME, Dec. 27. Inree deaths and several woundings followed a hypnotic display at Sebenico.
An Austrian professor hypnotised several members of the audience. He then called a policeman on the stage, hypnotised him, and made him dance and sing. Placing a piece of wood in nis hand, the professor said: "That is a revolver; shoot into the audience and then arrest the people for making a disturbance."
The policeman tried, but as the stick was useless he drew a revolver and fared, killing and wounding members SiM nau2! ence V With the greatest diifaculty the policeman was brought to his senses, and when he learnt what he had done he went mad The hypnotist was arrested.
