SPECIAL ADVERTISEMENTS. _ HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL. NOWELL ROAD SPECIAL IOAN. | J^OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at .a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Hawera held at the Council Chambers at Ha.wera on the 25th day of October, 1923, the Council passed a resolution in the words and figures following: — In- pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act. 1913," and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the County of Hawera at a Special Meeting of the Council held at the Council Chambers, Hawera, on the 25th day of October,. 1923, hereby resolves by Special Order as follows: — 1. 'ili&v the Hawera County Council raise a Special Loan of £200 under Part 1 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,' in and for the benefit of that part of the County of Hawera defined in the schedule hereto for the purpose of constructing, forming and metalling of a new road to be known as Nowell lload, which extends from its terminus in Section 230, Blocks 9 and 10, Hawera Survey District, to the Manawapou Road. 2.. That the said Special Loan Be called "The Nowell Road Special Loan." 3. That the currency of the said Special Loan be- for a period of 361 years from the raising of the loan. 4. That the interest on the said Special Loan be at the rate of . 4£ per cent per annum and be payable half yearly. 5. That a sinking fund of 1 per cent. per annum of the amount of the said Special Loan be created for the repayment of the loan. 6. That the cost of raising the loan and first year's interest and sinking fund of the loan be paid out of the loan. 7. That the Council doth further resolve that the said Special Loan of £200 and the interest, sinking fund and other charges in respect thereof shall be charged upon and be secured by a special rate of 5-32nds of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in that part of the County of" Hawera defined in the schedule hereto which special rate is intended to j be created by the Special Order ' of which this resolution forms part: That a Special Meeting o f the Council be held to confirm the foregoing resolution .by way of Special Order at 11 a.m. on the 24th day of November, 1923. SCHEDULE. ALL that part of the County of Hawera containing 289 acres 0 roods . 4.9 perches, being lots 2 and 10, and part lot 3, sections 220, 221, and. part sections 227/30; lot 11 sections 227/30, and lot 9, sections 220 and 221, blocks 9 and 10, Hawera Survey District, all of which land abuts on Nowell Road, and is more particularly delineated in the plan appearing in the Minute Book of the Hawera County Council as part of - the minute of this Special Order. And notice is hereby given that a bpeeial Meeting of the said Council will be held at the Council Chambers on the 24th day of November, 1923, at 11 a.m., at which the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation Dated this 29th day of October, 1923.
