MEETING AT STRATFORD

(By Telegraph—Special to Star.) STRATFORD, Nov. 19

A large and representative meeting of producers, Mr. F. Ranford being in the chair, discussed at some length the question of the representation of Taranaki on the board. Eventually a motion, moved by Mr. J. T. Belcher and seconded by Mr. H. Johnson, was carried unanimously, That in the opinion of this meeting of producers and representatives of. the industry it is advisable to adopt a ticket for Taranaki. It was resolved also to make a strong protest against the action of the Dairy Council.
