AN ARMED CONFLICT

BERLIN, Nov. 17. A regular battle between Separatists and armed peasants took place near Neuwetd yesterday. It was renewed 1-ns J llOl" 111™*' an<i resulted in 24 being killed, mostly Separatists, and over 60 being injured. A company of occupation troops ultimately disarmed 1000 Separatists and pursued the anti-Separatists.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn
