PROPOSED CUT IN PAY.

LONDON, Sep. 7. Recommended cuts in the army pay would reduce privates to Is 6d a day and sergeants to ss. Subalterns would receive 11s for the first three- years 13s for the second three years, and 16s alter seven years.. Captains would receive 21s.
