(From Our Own Correspondent). j POWER BOARDS OFFICES AND I SHOWROOMS. | Out of a. total number of sixteen sections submited to the Taranaki Power Board for the purpose of building the offices and showrooms of the Board, the special committee set up fcir the purpose of selecting a suitable site have decided to accept the offer of Mr C. A. Wilkinson for a section in Bridge Street Extension, almost opposite the C.E.M.S. Club building. The section has a frontage of 62ft, and extends from Bridge Street right through from King Edward Street, a total depth of 212 ft. The price obtained for the section was £650. The committee have also secured from Mr Wilkinson the option of another section adioining the one purchased at a cost of £1200. The building to be erected on the property will be an up-to-date two-storey concrete building, and will cost a considerable sum. SIR A.
