HEAA fY DEATH ROLL
(BT? TELEGRAPH —PKESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 14. In common*1 with other districts, the persistent cedd of this winter has shown its effect on the death roll. The interments in July numbered 117, as against 93 last year. So far this month the rate is still higher, but there are signs of warmer .weather now setting in.
