FIRE AT HASTINGS

HASTINGS, Aug. 14. A fire broke out at the shop of Richard Martin, outfitter, Heretaunga Street, last night. The * building was a, wooden one. which the fire brigade saved, but the stock and fittings were practically destroyed by fire and water. The sitock and fittings were insured for £2500 .in the Alliance and Norwich Union ah*l Farmers' Union offices. The building, which **vas owned by Mr. J. M.
