Tlie Government of the United States •asks that the following message be communicated to the Governor-General in reply to his telegram conveying the sympathy of the Government and people of New Zealand in connection with the death of President Harding: vProfoundly touched by your kind message of condolence conveyed through His Majesty's Embassy at Washington. Would you be so good" as to convey to the Government and people of New Zealand the deep appreciation of the United States for their sympathy in this time of sorrow.
