Hill Street, on Monday, Wanganui ■ loses another'" of the pioneer settlers lo<*k dece, as€d was. .bora in Auckland in ia49, and came to Wanganui when oiie year old. With the exception of a few years at Patea, she spent* her whole life in Wanganui. She married the late Mr. E. Buckley, of the 57th Regiment. He predeceased her 33 years ago. The late Mrs. Buckley was a warm-hearted, hospitable woman, who was ever ready to assist those in trouble. She leaves ?_ family o f f our sons—Messrs. Charles Wellington), Edward (Raetibi), John (Westmere), Thomas (Wanganui), and two daughters, Mrs. H. Edson (Wanga- J nui), Miss M. Buckley (Wanganui), also ! a brother, Mr. George Chamberlain. .
