Newton King, Ltd., report as underAt Urenui, on July 9, a fair yarding ot all classes was mostly all sold. Ewes in lamb 30s 6d, store cows 25s to 30s, forward conditioned do. £2 6s to £"> 16s, forward bullocks £6, spiinging heifers £6 5s to £8, Jersey do. £13 to £14, springing cows £6 10s to £9 ss, best classes £11 to £17. On behalf of Mr. H. G. Addenbrooke, weaner Jersey heifers sold up to £8 2s, and cows up to £17. At Stratford, on the 10th inst., we had a small offering of stores, but a better one of dairy cattle. ' The latter showed a marked improvement on late sales. Store cows 27s 6d to 41s, light fat do. £3 11s, weaner heifers 255, Jersey strain do. £3 3s, empty 18----month heifers £2 9s 6d to £3, springing heifers £6 to £13, dairy cows £7 10s to £10, quality do. £12 10s to £14 10s, best Jersey do. £19 to £19 10s. At Inglewood, on July 11, a moderate yarding of all classes sold at late values. Weaner heifers 255, better classes £2 14s to £3 10s.. Jersey, do. £4 Bs, empty 18-month heifers £4 Is, fat three-year-old steers £5 12s 6d, forward conditioned cows £2 5s to £3 3s, fat do. £3 10s to £4 10s, boner bulls 355, springing heifers' £6 5s to £8, springing cows £8 5s to £8 10s. At Rahotu, on July 12, a fair yarding all sold at the hammer at * late values. Stoi-e pigs 275, fat cows £5 10s, store do. £1 10s to £2 ss, forward steers £5 ss, weaner heifers 22s 6d to 275, choice quality do. £3, in-calf heifers £4 10s, springing do. £9 5s to £9 10s, aged gelding £36. We have conducted' the following clearing sales, and report: On the 6th inst., on behalf of Messrs Dingwall and Sutton, at Te Pojdo we had a satisfactory clearance. Horses sold up to £27. The herd comprised a mixed lot of dairy cows, and sold mostly between £5 " and £12, j empty heifers £2 10s. I On the 9th inst., on account of Messrs. Fox Bros., at Huiroa, there ! was submitted an extra heavy catalogue of sundries, implements, and stock, at which a large attendance of buyers presided. Mixed age ewes 29s 6d, 4year bullocks £4 14s, 3-year do. £3 13s, weaner heifers £2 ss, farm horses £38 to_ £44. The dairy herd comprised a mixed lot of cows in fair condition, quite a number of which were on the backward side, and sold, between £5 and £12. At Mangorei, on the 10th inst.-, on behalf of the estate of W. Hannah, we held a very s-uccossful sale. Cows sold for the greater part at between £7 and £12. small in-catf heifers £4 to £8, one pedigree Jersey cow (calved) £35. weaner heifers" £29, substantial farm horses £42, mixed sheep 24s fid. At Korito, on the ]f)th, on behalf of the estate of Martin Molloy, the shocking day did not hinder the attendance of Olivers. The cows came forward in very fair condition, and made the good average of £10. weaner heifers sold up to .-£4 4s, small in.calf heifers vn to £7, light farm horses up to £25 10s. On the 11th inst., on behalf of Messrs. T. A. and M. A. Hornibrook, at Stratford, we report an entirely successful sale. The cows were" in solendid rondition, and for the greater part sold between £12 flnd £93, we.nner heifers uo to £4 12s 6d, and horses up to £47. On the 12th inst., on account of Mr. J-. Petrie, at Stratford, there was submitted a good herd, for "which there was eager competition, the bulk selling between £9 and £18, farm horses up to £32. and a small offering of sundries. At Waitoitoi. on the 18th inst., on behalf of Mr. F. H. Morris, we report a very successful sale, the1 herd of 40 cows averaging £15, weaner Jersey beifevs vm to £5 17s 6d. sound do. £S

The grade herd was only'a small one, but comprised quite a number of nice quality cows, and •these sold vn to £18 10s, farm hordes realised £29 to £41, hack and light harness horse £18. An extensive list of useful sundries, all in good order, and also a full range of farm implements, realised satisfactory prices.
