NEW SOUTH WALES TOUR

WELLINGTON July 18. "We have gone into tne matter and find that .the expenses of the tour will run into :£6452," said Mr. S. S. Dean at to-night's meeting of the New Zealand R-ugby Union, when the matter of the protest made as to the admission charge during the New South Wales team's tour came up. "This means that each of the ten matches will, have to yield £650 to clear expenses,- or that 6500 at 2s each will constitute a gate." It was decided to write to the protesting unions laying these facts before them.
