FREEZING WORKERS' DISPUTE

WELLINGTON. July 18. In the freezing dispute before the Conciliation Council the employers, as applicants, submitted that the same wages as before should be paid. The workers' representatives argued that the wages were insufficient ow'tog to discontinuous employment. The last wages cut imposed in the North Island had not been made in the-South. The case is proceeding.
