In consequence of certain actions the JRev. R. was ; warned by the General Assembly, arid:*.on the ground that this warning has not been complied with the Presbytery declared its opinion that the Rev.- ft. 'Wood's behaviour called for severe censure, and cited him to appear before it. The Rev. R. Wood Tyrote that without admitting jurisdiction or that he had done anything unworthy of his-position he undertook, for the sake of the peace of the. Presbyterian Church, to cease what wag ; termed his vendetta against members:a»d the Presbytery, and did not attend the meeting. T"he Presbytery parsed a resolution: "That though it could have proceeded to suspend him it would accept his undertaking; ■ bul I wiarned" him that any further breach oi l" the undertaking irinis letter -would b< immediately followed by action. 5.'
