-^—' ■ ♦ - .■ —— CORRIGAN—PURSER. At 2 p.m; on Wednesday, June 13, a large gathering assembled in < the > Pres- -, byterian Church to see 7. Mis & Inez Purser, the eldest daughter of Mr, Cyril Purser, married to Alex, the only son of Mr. J. R. Corrigan, M.P. The bride, with her two younger, sisters, Gwen and Barbara, as attendants, looked very attractive in a simple frock of cream velvet and bronze brocaded lace.' The younger girls wore shrimp pick and" lavender marocain respectively. The daintiness of the wedding party was greatly enhanced by the artistic decora- j tions in the church. Mr. Jack Robertson assisted the bridegroom. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Purser enter- : | tamed a: small number of their closer } relatives at a dainty tea at their home. i Throughout both ceremony and reception the sang froid and bright spirits of both bride and.bridegroom were most marked. Late in the afternoon the happy couple left for a few weeks' tour of the South Island before settling in their, future home in Fantham Street.
