I • The House further discussed the Sinking Fund Pill, vhich is pronosed i to be administered by commissioners consisting of the Commonwealth j Treasurer, Chief Justice of the High Court, the Governor of the Common- ' wealth Bank, and the Solicitor-General without fees. Such a commission, it was claimed, would prevent the fund j being used by improvident Ministers.
