LABOUR. STONEWALLS A PROPOSAL.
" (BY TELEGBAFH "PBESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 12. The City Council rose at 3.10 this .morning after an all-night stonewall by Labour members on the proposal that the council wages and bonuses should be those fixed by the Arbitration Court. The --final division on this subject was reached at 2.30 a.m., when the clause was adopted by 9 votes to 6.
