WELLINGTON, April 22. Affairs on board the American vessel l'orest Home have not been satisfactory ever since the vessel arrived in port iurst one man accidentally fell and re eived such injuries that he died. I iien trouble arose between the captain and tne crew, a summons and crosssummons being issued. The men were charged with disobedience of orders and the captain was charged with assault.

10-day two men applied for their discharge and claimed the balance of moneys alleged to be d-ue. They stated the captain had threatened them with a revolver, and he also had two guns and other firearms handy. On the %ovage out nearly all the'crew had been logged, and some had deserted The magistrate granted an order for discharge which, he said, was the best way out of the trouble.
