KILLED IN TUNNEL

(BY TELEGRAPH —PKESS ASSOCIATION.1) CHRTSTCEURCH, May 2. 1 A man was killed in the Lyttelton ; tunnel by the 8.20 a.m. train from i Lyttelton to Christchureh. The engine- [ driver felt a blimp, but could see nothing in the ■ smoke. A gang went through the tunnel and found the badly , mutilated and almost unrecognisable remains of an elderly man, supposed to be G. H. Parsons, public accountant, of Christchureh. It is not known whether he fell off the train or walked into the tunel.
