LITTLE GIRL SHOT
(by telegraph—press association.) GISBORNE, April 2. While playfng with a young boy at her home at Motuhora, a three-year-old girl named Patricia Grantham was shot by the lad wipH a pea rifle. The boy did not know it was loaded and he pointed it at the girl and pulled the trigger, the bullet penetrating the ! chest. The girl was brought to town iby the evening train and admitted to I hospital.
