The writer accuses Britain of securing ..the v lion's share ■from the 'war, leaving nothing for Prance. * Lord D'Abernon is accused of enconraging German resistance as Britain . fears a 'Franco-German alliance so much thq* she devoted all efforts to preventing France settling affairs with CJermany direct Germany's resistance was regulated constantly 'according to the British Government's attitude. The manoeuvre lasted four years, but cannot last for "ever.
