Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cable froiri their London house under date 7th inst: — j Tallow.—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: . Fine mutton 44s 9d per cwt; good beef 42s per ewt; mixed 39s per cwt: Mart ket firm. • AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPTRIGHT : MELBOURNE, March 9. At the hides sales the demand was animated for all except kips,and values' advanced one-eighth of; a penny to a farthing all round. Kips declined a farthing. 7 " .
