THE GRAND—TO-NIGHT.
"CAUGHT BLUFFING."
I "Caught Bluffing/ the Universal attraction starring Mayo, which comes to the Grand to-night, is a typical Maya ! vehicle in that the plot is dramatic. 1 The stellar role does not call for an I Apollo with marcelled hair, and much of the snappy action is in the snows ,of the northland. Frank Mayo is an actor, even as his dad was in the days when he made such a tremendous sucj cess in "Davy Crockett" on theAmeriI can stage. Brought up in the environ- ; ment of the footlights and grease paint, I the Universal star has taken his work 1 seriously—more seriously than people might think. Mayo has the rare faculty of adapting himself to any kind of role, but in this case it is hardly necessary to adapt himself, for the" Universal star's boyhood was. partly spent in j Northern mining camps, and he pos- • sesses an intimate knowledge of the . habits and mannerisms of the Klondike pioneers
