Eltham had a three point win over Manaia. Manaia in their first innings made 74 (McMahon 15, McKay 18, H. Whalen 19) and in their second innings 35. G. Stewart was the destroying agent, taking 6 wickets for 42 and 7 for 112. In the latter case he secured the last four wickets with consecutive balls. Eltham declared at 7 wickets for 157 (Marsh 18, Hooper 20, C. Little 10, A. Stewart 37, Kcddell 31 not out, Davis 16 and Senior 14).
