Feb. 21, Sensational burglaries committed or> the night of January 10 last, when four shops were broken into and goods and cash stolen, and two attempts made on other premises, as well as another burglary last August, were cleared up to-day, when two youths, Reginald Cooper and Horace Hartinan, pleaded guilty to all charges and were committed to the Napier Supreme Court for sentence. Henry Hartman pleaded guilty to receiving stolen goods to the value of £7 from Horace Hartman, and he was convicted and summarily sentenced to reformative treatment not exceeding 12 months. All the accused are between 17 and 18 years of age.
