-In the light of the frequent, too frequent, changes in farm lands in parts I of New Zealand, it will he of interest to read that Mr. James Stodart Dickson recently relinquished the. farm of Damhead, Loanhead, which has been acquired by the Board of Agriculture for Scotland for the settlement of exservice men. He thus severs his connection with a holding which has been "tenanted by his family for over 100 years. His grandfather, Lcckhart , Stodart, hailing from "Whiteshaw, near ■Carluke. took the farm over a century ago, and was succeeded by his two sons, Adam and Matthew Stodart, who ' held it jointly for a good number of t years.
