MELBOURNE, Feb. 2. At a meeting of the Nationalist! Party Mr. W7M. Hughes resigned, and Mr. Bru<© was elected leader of the party. Mr-. Hughes, in tendering his resignation, said he would recommend the f&overnor-Gfeneral to commission Mr. Bruce to form a new Ministry.
