In order to secure for patrons th». besbv pictures available, the management of the Opera House have made special arrangements with the United Artists' organisation, which will secure ithe latest and best pictures released by that live and progressive instituticj(ti. The Big Four, as they are called, are Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, and D. W. Griffiths. Thej will also receive the best pictures from the First National Exhibitors and the Jewel Universal Company. These arrangements, as all picture patrons will realise^ will, ensure that they get the very best, and point to a most interesting and attractive series of programmes for the year just commenced." The first of the United Artists' pictures will be shown on Monday, giving the thrilling story of Dumas' great novel "Three Musketeers." A list of the principal attractions to be filmed during the year was published on Tuesday last, and no j doubt proved of great interest to readers.
