DEATH OF-FIREMAN

The charge qf muirder preferred against John Finnegan, resulting from the death,of a fellow-fireman on board the steamer Tredenham, was further considered in the -Magistrate's Court, ' and at the Same time the inquest on the dead man, Con O'Keefe, was proceeded with. • . | The medical evidence showed that' O'Keefe's injuries were consistent with I a blow, kick o>r fall. ' } A fireman-who was in the forecastle when the trouble arose, said accused pulled deceased from his bunk and. punched him and kicked\him as he lay j on the floor. . I The case was adiourned until Mon- i day. .
