MANAIA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a very large crowd at Manaia on last Saturday night. The Manaia Municipal Brass Band rendered .1 very nice programme suitable to the occasion, which was much appreciated by all present. The shopkeepers spoke well of the business they had done durtne holidays. There is to be a general meeting of the members of Hibernian Sports Club on Saturday night at 8 o 'clock. There is a good deal of business to be done in connection with the forthcoming championship sports, to be held at Manaia on February 28 and March 1. Th» committee invite all interested in the sports to attend. The various committees are working very hard and have a lot of detail work well in hand.
