BY CABLE—PEESB ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT MELBOURNE, Jan. 4. The State Cabinet declined to sanction the City Council's proposal to authorise the playing of games in the public parks on Sundays. The reasons for the decision, which was unexpected, have not been disclosed.
