BURGLARY IN WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, Jan. 4. ' On the night of December* 20 a window of city premises was broken and an. electric drill stolen. The^police suspected that burglarous use was intended, but a search failed. On Tuesday evening some Gas Company workmen found a drill and an outfit of , burglary tools among a st&ck of gas pipes, also an electric cable of the kind rsed aboard ship. Not knowing of the theft of the drill, they did not notify Ihe police till yesterday. . The police were thus unable to ambush the suspec.ted burglars. An examination for 1 finger prints is in process.
