A young Maori woman named Maka Kaimoka was arrested yesterday, after escaping from "Point Halswell Prison by using implements which she had secured. She has a long list of convictions.. The magistrate sentenced her to three years' reformative treatment, of which two years will be concurrent with her present sentence.
