The National Dairy Association of New Zealand, in a circular letter to dairy companies, states: Under date of December 23, our London Office cables as follows:

We have arranged space on the Port Hunter for the New Zealand Dairy Company for a shipment of 10,000 boxes of butter direct to Dunkirk, in France. The steamer sails about the middle of January. The freight is 6s per box. Whilst there is no further space available on tha Port Hunter for Dunkirk, Aye Avill be glad to know if there are any other dairy companies who wish to make direr;t shipment to France if space can be secured in other steamers. Australia has been making shipments direct to Dunkirk for some time.

Orari. Dec. 15: 15,566 boxes butter; Dorset, Dec. 24, 100,126 boxes buttei, 6864 crates cheese; Waimana,, Dec. 24, 98.297 boxes butter, 14,453 crates cheese.

The total shipments from Australia for the present season up to December 20. 1922, were 488,781 boxes.

The total exports from Canada trom May 1 to November 25, 1922, were 311,930 boxes butter and 1,170.339 crates cheese; for 1921 the figures were 74,652 boxes of butter and 1,422,615 crates cheese.
