The Patea Press reports among the questions asked at Mr. Corrigan's meet- - ing at Kakaramea the following: . Mr. Corrigan said he would support a straight-out issue between- liqiior and •prohibition. The poll should not be carried*" by a bare majority, but by a 55 per cent, majority, - and an issue say every nine years. ' Mr. Tarrant asked .if the Liberals favoured first past the post or proportional representation. Mr. Corrigan said, he was in favour of a preferential system of vocio^, but not the grouping of electorates. Mt. Tarrant: That's not the Lil eral idea. Mr. Corrigan': No, but it's Corngan's idea.
