Rior Uan was born in Ireland, and came t< New Plymouth in 1875,. residing latei 111 varii-as parts of the North Island She was a resident of Wanganui foi about twelve years, and went to Tai hape a year or two ago with her hus band, who had purchased a carrying business-. Deceased leaves a grown-uj family of three sons and five daughters One of the sons is the Rev. Fathei Riordan, of the Catholic Seminary Greenmeadows.
