MANAWATU SPRING SHOW. I Final entries have now been made for the big event at Palmerston North, showing an increase of 513 on last year's figures, -the total number received being 4057. Very fine displays may be looked for in the competitions, and live stock sections most of all are well filled. Considerable energy has been put into the draught horse section, and something like old times may be looked for. Large entries have been received, which will ensure a fine display. Dogs have increased in numbers as against former years, also pigs, which latter is an indication that the comparatively young New Zealand Pig Breeders' Association is making its influence felt. Competition classes are heartily filled with a total °f 208 en-j tries, from all parts of the district, interspersed' with competitors from Wa:kato. Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, and. Wairarapa. The very full programme should satisfy, the keenest sporting visitor to the show. Given fine weather] and a good attendance, another successful show is bound to eventuate. DISCOVERED IN 1847. CAUSE OF RHEUMATISM. In 1847 uric acid was first discovered in the blood of patients suffering from Rheumatism and Gout. It "goes with the blood," searches out tbe poisonous deposits, dissolves and expels them. Nothing could be more ! scientific —mor-e certain and simple than Rheumo. Hundreds testify to its wonderful efficacy. Don't suffer Rheumatism, Gout, Lußsbago, or any other Uric Acid disease-~-g*et Rheumo now, and start the sure, scientific treatment, ■2/6 and 4/6.
