BUTTER-FAT PAYMENTS.
Mr. ■W. Goodfellow., managing director, stated, in announcing a satisfactory pay-out for the Waikato, that this further bonus payment would finally square up all butter bonus payments for the past year, with the exception of 4d, covering butter-fat supplied during y May. The winter surplus butter had not yet arrived in England,- but just as soon as the butter manufactured in May was <disposed 9 of the final distribution over and ( above the amount shown in the balance-sheet would be coming to the suppliers.; This was due to the fact that a very large quantity of butter and cheese unsold at the date of balance would realise prices in excess of the company's conservative estimates of values at the time.
