w . The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from. 9 a.m. this day the indications are for variable and strong breezes, but westerly strong to gale prevailing shortly and veering by west to north. The weather seems likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain probable. Barometer falling again soon. Tides and sea increasing to sea heavy and tides high.
