SCOTCH GEOGRAPHY.

I .. _ j (To the Editor.) I Sir, —The writer under the above heading in the Star should look to his own geography, as»l have yet to learn I that Fleet Street, London, is in Scot-,. ; land. If he has read the Children's ! Newspaper at all he must know it is published there. The editor is always most willing to correct any error that i may be published as soon as the mistake is pointed out, and to publish. accounts of bravery m any part of the world. The writer accuses the Scotchman of only reading a few lines and i drawing"' on his imagination for the rest. Is that his own way of getting up an article? Seeing Scotland is not responsible, it is up to him to apologise for the uncalled for skit on the I Scotch geography. As the Children's : Newspaper has a world-wide circulation, : New Zealand articles on the industries ' of the country, marvels of the thermal ' regions,: and other very interesting...; features might with benefit to New Zealand be included in its pages should correspondents with a knowledge of "geography" supply the articles.—l i am, etc., ,•'-.' j i SCOTCH, i ! [The comment to which "Scotch' 5 rei fers -was reprinted from the Auckland j Star.—Ed.] ■ j
