In the course of a social held by the Star Football Club it was mentioned by Mr. Humphries that he remembered the time when the club had won four competitions in a season. Star Club set a fine example this year by giving medals to the most useful players "on and off the field." This is very sensibly taking into consideration the influence of the player outside the team, and may well be copied by other' clubs.
